Facial Care

Many have an expensive 7 to 10 step facial routine to make our face clear, glowy and bouncy. But what if I tell you you can achieve this glowy skin naturally and it doesn’t harm your pocket and you can find all the ingredients at home.  Here is my top 5 face masks, that actually work.

Tip; when applying the face mask always apply it on a clean face and when wash it off with cool water.

Rice is an important element in Korean and Japanese cosmetics due to its high benefits to the skin.

Rice contains vitamin B and E, which are both key elements to keep the skin healthy as well as to promote cell generation. It also has Amino Acid, which helps the skin to appear more youthful and virabate.

In addition to this, rice maks are natural exfoliation, which many will argue is an important part of our skin care routine, the rice mask removes dead skin cells so it creates a smoother skin texture.

Ingredients:

1 cup of water

3 tablespoon of rice

½ tablespoon of honey

1- 2 tablespoon of milk

Frist cook the rice with the water for about 5 min, until it becomes moisty, drain the water out, BUT don’t throw the water.

Mix the rice once is cooled down  with the milk and the honey until it becomes a paste.

Apply it to your clean  face and leave it for 20 min then wash off with cool water.

Do this once or twice a week to get that healthy smooth skin

The rice water that you did not throw away, you can use that as a natural toner.

You can leave this maks and the water in the fridge for about 5 days.

Bananas are rich in Vitamin A, E and C, which helps with sun protection, as it helps with to boost the skin’s natural ability to protect from the sun, even though this does not mean to through away our sun creams. It also helps reduce acne by reducing the inflammation in the skin and it helps moisturise the skin

Ingredients:

1 banana

Mash the banana and then add the honey and mix well. Put it on a clean face for 15 to 20 min and then wash off with cool water

Yogurt is well know to help the skin to becomes lighter and softer but it also reduce appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by tightening and shrinking pores. 1 tablespoon of honey

2 tablespoon of yogurt

Beld well the oatmeal (what I do is a belt a good amount of oatmeal and put it in a small container, so whenever I want to do this maks is much quicker and easier for me)

Then add the yogurt and the honey, mix and apply to clean face for around 20 min and wash with cool water.
