Balanced Diet

Nowadays it could be said that our lifestyle has become fast, where we are always on the move. This has a massive impact on our diet as sometimes we don’t eat food that are beneficial to our bodies, such as eating fried food. Doctors have always said that in order for us to be healthy we need to look the food that we eat, is just like the saying “we are what we eat” and it is right if you constantly eat for examples fried foods, then you body will not absorb the nutrients and vitamins that give you the energy you need, therefore you might become tired easily.

So, how can we achieve this balanced diet? I hear you asking, easy eat homemade meals make you have some form of protein in your plate, such as chicken; protein helps the body to repair cells and create new cells. If you are vegan or vegetarian there are alternatives such as tofu, which is also high in protein. You also need carbohydrates, it is found in potatoes, pasta, rice, etc; it is important to eat carbohydrates as it contains fiber and vitamins, which will give you energy. And finally have some vegetables to give you the vitamins and minerals needed for your body to be healthy.

Don’t forget to eat fruit, ideally 5 a day, it seems a lot, but it really isn’t. What you can do is have some fruits for breakfast and when you are on break and after lunch/dinner. Also drink about 2 litres per day in order for you body to stay hydrated.

Having a balanced diet will not only make you healthy but it will also clean your skin and make you happy, which is why it is said before you clean the outside, aka skin, you need to clean the inside, aka your body, which can only be done trough you diet.
